This Product Is poor
I purchased this product to replace my existing doorbell which had broken. I fitted the item in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions but it failed to work. New batteries were subsequently fitted on two occasions thereafter and again failed to work and I therefore, out of frustration, returned the doorbell for a refund.

Useless instructions
Pictorial instructions which are at best useless and at worst confusing in the extreme. They make no sense and are not in order. The wire fittings are awful and tricky. AVOID !! Would give NO stars if that were possible.

Faulty bell push
I bought this to replace a damaged bell switch it was fitted and it lit perfectly,after a couple of applications the light did not work I a very dissatisfied with this product

Not good
I bought one and it did not work, l changed it and this one only worked if the push was screwed with the finger. I don't see how it could be my fault as it is only connecting two wires and the bell works well when the wires are touched.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
Being an idiot I read the reviews for this bell push but still decided to purchase it due to the very low cost. What's the saying? You get what you pay for. This is certainly the case with this product . Its very poorly made the most importantly the covering unit does not clip onto the base unit making the whole thing redundant / useless. I actually find it quite amazing that a company like B&Q continues to stock this after all the negative reviews. It does not reflect well on the company. SO DO NOT BE AN IDIOT (like me) STEER WELL CLEAR!! I doubt B&Q will post this review.

Very poor cheap design
Tiniest of screws to clamp bell wires under, right next to each other so shorting is likely. Cover does not clip back in place properly even the first time as plastic is too soft.

Avoid at all costs
I wish I had read these reviews before buying, it's cheap and still not worth the money. Fotted mine yesterday and it's held together with tape and glue. The only thing I have to add is that I fitted the push button with a B&Q Blyss wired battery mains powered door chime, product no. 5397007134223. (itself a load of junk), using a transformer. The light on the bell push did not work, and the door bell would not work with the bulb in.

Bad Quality
Lid fell off on the first day and needed be held together with a tape. The next day, I realised that the button got stuck. This product is not worth the plastic this product is made of.

Have to Agree
Read the reviews but still went ahead and bought one and now have to agree the lugs on the outer casing are so flimsy that once the bell push has been wired up the outer casing won't stay on ended up super gluing it on.

Poor build quality
The lugs on the outer casing are so flimsy that once the bell push has been wired up the outer casing won't stay on. A complete waste of time and effort. The only good thing is that I was given a full refund without any quibble.
