Top Drawer poor design
The first problem with this freezer is the top drawer which slopes upwards at the front. If you pull it out to far the slope causes it to slip downwards and if full of food you can loose your grip which happened to me. the consequences are we have a broken shelf.

Terrible fridge freezer
We've had this nearly 3 years, and we've had at least 6 Cata engineers out to look at it. We've been told that it is supposed to be self-defrosting, another engineer told it isn't and should be ventilated... We've had the freezer door seal replaced, but the thing freezes up at the top of the freezer every couple of weeks; we literally have to defrost it twice a month now, and ice also builds up in the fridge too.

Really bad
I am so unhappy with this product had it 2 years and lost 5 lots of food as the alarm keeps going of someone comes to fix it and tells you to leave it off for 48hours!!!! So you lose all your food do not buy this

Awful!!
Bought as part of a fitted kitchen from B & Q. The first fridge freezer had "Blown" and couldn't chill anything after 6 months. The replacement lasted 12 months and the light and thermostat went bang literally!! This was replaced but only lasted 5 months. At this point I had had the appliance for 2 years and less than 1 month. When I contacted Cata customer service I was informed the repair was only guaranteed for 3 months because it was done under warranty. If I wanted to pay for another repair it would be guaranteed for 12 months?? I refused and am currently talking to trading standards.

Very Poor
We bought two of these for our new kitchen about 18 months ago. The one still works. The other one has a faulty fridge which has effectively become a freezer. The thermostat wiring is totally inaccessible. Ever tried eating frozen lettuce. Don't buy one, go for better quality, known brand.
