Rubbish fridge Freezer
I had this intregrated Fridge Freezer when I brought my current property, as it had been recently installed by the previous owner. I had never heard of this make before. I have never been happy with it due to my milk never being cold and going off very quickly. The freezer iced up very quickly and in the end I had to keep thrawing this fridge freezer every 2 weeks as I could not shut the freezer door due to the short periods where the freezer would ice up completely. Totally unhappy and now it has packed up on me at Christmas time so I have lost all my food which has gone off and has also been costly at a time I did not need it. Also this has caused no end of stress for my family so I have learnt do not trust this make. I have now re ordered a trusted brand to replace this rubbish. Do not touch this appliance whatever you do, as it is certainly not fit for purpose

Worst product I've ever had
Let me start off by saying that I did not buy this fridge freezer, it was part of a kitchen that was installed in the house I bought a couple of years ago. I feel bad for anyone who has spent money on this product. As the other reviews have stated, the fridge becomes a freezer. On the right hand side there was always a massive build up of ice. I can only assume that this was because the thermostat was made by a toy company. No matter what setting the temperature dial was at it didn't matter. The freezer itself is unsure of itself, as if it is having a mid life crisis. Some of the food is frozen rock solid but then ice lollies decide to be like the polar ice shelf and turn to water. Not all the time but it was incredibly hard to predict if I was going to be eating ice cream or mush. Another point about the freezer is the drawers. The top one is actually a 3/4 drawer as the ceiling of the freezer slopes downwards at the back. Moving the drawers in and out themselves was also pretty bad and I found myself almost having to play tug of war with them to get them out. There's not much else I can say, we just replaced this with another fridge freezer at last and wish I had done it when we moved in. Save yourself time and money by not buying this folks.

Terrible product. Not fit for purpose.
I bought this product as part of a new fully fitted kitchen along with a range of other integrated appliances from B&Q. I opted for the more costly 'frost free' fridge freezer thinking that it would be low maintenance. Think again! This was installed in December 2013 and by April the freezer was blocked up with ice and all of my frozen food was defrosted. The engineer was called and I was told (despite me knowing to the contrary that I hadn't) that I 'must have' left the freezer door open at some point. The advice was to defrost it for 48 hours. This seemed to work - for a few months! Fast forward to the October (fridge freezer is still now only 10 months old) and the freezer is icing up again. Called the engineer again. Again I'm told that I must have left the door open. On inspection he advises it needs a new thermostat which he orders and comes back to replace. Fast forward another six months and the freezer is icing up again. Rather than calling the engineer (hindsight tells me I should have kicked up a stink at this point but as a single woman working full time and unable to take time off to wait for another engineer to visit, I decided just to try defrosting it again). This method worked again initially. Since then I have been in a routine of losing around £25-30 worth of frozen food and carrying out a 48hour defrost once every 3 months. Now the appliance is only three years old it seems to have packed in completely. The freezer once again (only two months since the last defrost) is blocked up with ice and even the fridge doesn't seem to be keeping food very cold leaving me in the difficult position of forking out a fortune for call-out fees and new parts or getting a replacement. Thinking of buying this product? My advice: think again! This product is more hassle than it's worth. It is not fit for purpose. I am angry and disappointed in B&Q for even stocking this useless product. It's cost me a small fortune which I can ill-afford.

Bad quality
Light broke within 2 months, shelves always breaking, ice builds up in the fridge and bottom of freezer and it leaks. Not even worth a 1 star!

Do not buy!
Stopped freezing after 2, 8, 12 24 & 30 months, cata came out to fix it each time until they replaced it. The replacement totally broke after 1 month. NEVER BUYING CATA PRODUCTS AGAIN

Suboptimal Quality
We unfortunately bought this fridge freezer four months ago (recommended by the B&Q salesman) as part of a kitchen refurb. Leaks a plenty and cheap light weight plastic assessories. Please avoid. It's simply poor quality. An unfunny joke!!!

Faulty twice within 2 years
Initially happy with it, but then it stopped freezing after around 11 months, and then began to get progressively noisier. Got it repaired under warranty. 11 months later it stopped freezing again. Still trying to argue the fact that it's still under warranty. Cata's service people (JTM Contracts - 01913870950) are trying to claim that the warranty begins when you purchase the item, when EU law states it is when it is delivered. I've now given up going direct and letting B&Q sort it. Not happy with the appliance at all! I would strongly advise considering buying an alternative fridge freezer (especially at this price!).

Do not purchase this product!!
Purchased this product 30 months ago. The fridge has turned into a freezer!! Have been told by the engineer, that the thermostat is not faulty, it's a manufacturing fault! But as its out of warranty Cata do not want to know. They would not even give me contact details of their company for me to write a letter of complaint.. Was told to contact the retailer instead.

Faulty after only 18 months
Bought and fitted by B and Q kitchen fitters but unit failed to freeze after 18 months. Cata engineer failed to fix and the issue was not resolved so I was forced to buy another and scrap this after such a short time. Waste of money.
