I managed.
I love these and am disappointed I can longer get them. Please note mine does 2 light settings. You have to set it before installing on ceiling - or wherever. If I put my light switch on once it’s a dim light. Twice it’s bright. Easy.

Great spotlight replacement
We bought these as replacements for some 20 year old halogen spotlights for the kitchen after seeing them demonstrated in the local B&Q Superstore, and they work a treat. The worst part about the refit was enlarging the original 55mm holes to 68mm, and after some really scary moments with a wayward hole saw (trying hard not to damage the surface of the shelves) they were installed, wired and working without further drama. For information, the box says the maximum shelf thickness they will fit is 15mm, however, our shelves are 19mm thick and they fit perfectly. Some things to note though - the instructions for fitting are appalling - think dumbed down flat pack assembly. There is no indication regarding how to get to the second stage of lighting (from warm white to bright white - turn them on, then off, then on again in quick succession). That aside, we're well pleased - they work well and give a very good light, and all four combined use the energy of one of our halogen spots used to.

incorrectly advertised
There is no way of switching between the 2 light settings, so "2 in 1" is an incorrect description. As a result, I now have to reschedule workers, losing time and money
