Not an usable anglepoise, just decorative.p
If you were expecting this lamp to work like an anglepoise lamp then dont buy it. The upright section has a few millimetres of adjustment and only the horizontal section and the shade move. This is a decorative item not a practical anglepoise

Replacement Necessity
A replacement lamp mostly for reading was necessary, A choice of this lamp fitted the wife's need perfectly.

Fine. Nice classic lamp for 20 quid
OK, it's probably not made out of the best materials on the planet but what do you expect for 20 quid? Nice colour, functions well. Stays where it's put. Quality budget item in the B&Q mould. The only improvement I could suggest is making the base a bit heavier. Does - as they say - what it says on the tin. Just make sure you have the right bulb to hand as there isn't one included (it's an Edison Screw 14mm) - so try the Osram 6 watt 470lm LED

Very dissappointing
First the good news: an excellent colour BUT it will not stay in position, slumping down at the first opportunity, like a lazy teenager! Its going back tomorrow! The photo on here is very accurate - that's the only position it will stay in! Doesn't B & Q employ quality controllers?!
