Appalling, possibly the worst paint/varnish ever!!
I bought this to colour my conservatory windowsill. Sanded down to bare wood, vaccumed off then wiped over with white spirit and left to dry. Tin was stored at room temp, started applying with a quality new brush, the varnish just started clummping and dropping 'bits' everywhere over the surface, persevered thinking it was my technique, ( I have been doing DIY for nearly 40 years) but to no avail, just got worse and worse, the stuff was just 'balling up' and the surfaces of the sill looked like sandpaper. The brush is now ruined, the colour is down now, but will need to lightly sand smooth and purchase another product to make it 'smooth'. AVOID!!!!! B&Q should be ashamed of selling this useless product.....

Does exactly what it says on the tin!
Have used something like this before. I use it on a garden table I built about 15 years ago. I give it 2 coats a year and it looks great. It dries in about 15 minutes on a warm day so don't take too long using it, otherwise it could cause difficulty. Just get on, apply then smooth it then leave it alone..I do like the fact it's water soluble, I'm normally not a fan of water based wood varnishes but this works a treat. This is quite a bit cheaper than, say, Ronseal, but it's as good.
