Still looks great after a year
Really pleased with this flooring which was laid 16 months ago, it is delicate as it is real wood and needs to be looked after to keep it looking good but I still love it and will be buying more to do the upstairs floors

Awful
I bought this floor a year ago and laid it in the kitchen and hallway. Since having it installed I have had problem after problem. The problems began with the floor expanding, which created a hump in the floor. The expansion caused the floor to push against radiator pipes, resulting in them bending (and having to be replaced). I contacte B&Q and after weeks of calls and emails a surveyor came to visit. They took no responsibility and blamed the installation and moisture. I spent over £2000 on the floor and have had it repaired on numerous occasions. In the end I have now decided to have it taken up as I am fed up of the constant issues. If anyone is thinking of buying this product then please beware.

Perfect
We bought this about a year ago for our kitchen. It’s great- durable, looks good, easy to clean. We’ve had no warping, no issues at all, so I have no idea what’s wrong with the kitchens of the other reviewers lol!

Awful...certainly not suitable for kitchens!!
I bought and had laid this flooring in my kitchen diner after much research and reading up on which flooring could be suitable. Based on the product information I chose this nice looking flooring as the 'suitability' for kitchens as well as the '30 year guarantee' gave me the confidence it would be a great and safe choice. Within a very short period (around 4 months) the floor started to warp and the nice smooth surface ripple in places where the water based appliances in the kitchen were. After discovering no leaks or reasons for this happening, I contacted B&Q to complain and get a resolution...waste of time! B&Q took no responsibility for the product they sell, nor the information THEY provide about the suitability of the product in different areas of the house. Manufacturer had no interest and suggested we had not dealt with or cleaned the floor correctly and must have been mopping it with water (we had cleaned as instructed using either dry or mildly damp but not wet cloths) - clearly the 30 year guarantee is a hollow promise! All in all very disappointed with both the product and how the issue was dealt with (or not) by B&Q and manufacturer...still have horribly warped floor as can't afford to re-floor my entire kitchen diner again!

Beautiful
I just had this laid down instead of our old carpet. It is the right colour with my dark brown banister. Not too shiny and not rough. So far is lovely. I’m glad I got it despite reviews about it scratching but then we don’t have young children

Waste of money beware
This flooring was advertised as suitable for kitchens when I purchased it . In the store it now states unsuitable for kitchens. The floor scratches really easily and has lifted in two places. Contacted B&Q and sent photographs, but despite promising to contact me within 72 hours, I have not heard from them (wonder why). I have since emailed them again and still Nothing. Nice to know B&Q care about their customers. This flooring cost nearly two thousand pounds when fitting was included. Sorry to say it’s going to have to be taken up. What a waste!

Great flooring
I bought this wood around three months ago after spending ages looking for suitable real wood flooring for the bathroom. I saw the two previous reviews before purchasing but as bamboo seemed the only option for real wood in the bathroom I went ahead anyway. Contrary to the other reviews I am very impressed with the durability. It is real wood after all. I purchased 10 packs and found only one plank with a small amount of damage to one edge. The planks are well packed so there are no surface scratches where the faces rub together. The uniformity of the plank width was also excellent so no un-equal joints anywhere. I used 5mm insulation and glued all the joints. I am fanatical about detail so this floor had to look perfect and it does. It has been down around two months now so plenty of time to acclimatise and still looks as good as when it was laid. I don't have any kids dragging toys across it so can't really comment on that but if you are looking for real wood flooring to go into your bathroom then this will take some beating for the price. Very impressed!

Not for me
If you have child don't buy scratches easy and all so hard to clean you will always find damage planks in every box .

looks great
looks great but with children it's not a good choice, bought this for my bedroom and had to remove all toys from there. I would buy it again cause the room looks beautiful now, just this scratches....
