Appalling quality, beware
I bought this product a few weeks ago, awaiting fitting by a friend who was competent to fit. However, instructions were some of the most difficult of anything I have ever followed, and the whole unit is held to the overhead fixture, in this case a wooden beam, by just 2 thin tin brackets which clip into the main body of the unit. The cover then clips to the base of the unit but the one I had simply would NOT clip to the base. I had to secure approx 50% of the clips, leaving the others loose. When I switched on the tube was daylight bright, but EXPLODED within the plastic cover after being on for approx 5 minutes. An absolute waste of time and money. Appalling quality product!!!!
