Beautiful finish
I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and finish of this floor, just what I was looking for – so much so that I am now saving to do the dining room too. Feels and looks great, rich dark brown colour. Well worth the investment, it transforms the room. We used B&Q approved fitters too and they did a great job.

Looks beautiful
We bought this flooring to do our barn and it looks fabulous. Despite the notes on the packaging advising otherwise, we unpacked all the flooring and stacked it allowing air to circulate so it could acclimatise (as is standard practise). We actually left it for a month until we were ready to lay it. We only had one plank out of 32 boxes that we set aside as it had a deep scratch, but that probably happened during stacking. It was pretty easy to lay but it is time consuming doing the invisible fixing. We found that using less screws per board allowed each board to manoeuvre itself into place – rather than forcing it with a mallet – and meant less screw removals due to hitting knots in the wood or getting the angle slightly wrong (which is very frustrating). However, the floor is very slightly creaky in places, probably because of using fewer screws. The dark colour works really well over a large expanse (40sqm) and the colour variations look very natural in daylight and artificial light. We had 30 people over for a party 2 months later, plus two 2 dogs running in and out of the barn with muddy feet and found the floor very easy to hoover & clean. We did cause a few scratches whilst laying but found a simple wipe over with a scratch cover varnish (looks like a pot of nail varnish) works miracles – 30 seconds later the scratch is invisible. We had quite a few planks left over, so whilst the sale is still on, we are going to buy a few more packs to do another small room, it looks so good. Can highly recommend this flooring - even at full price it's some of the best we've seen in this price range.

fabulous floor
We've just fitted this floor and are absolutely. As we couldnt view it in store we were a but nervous and relied on the feedback of other reviewers- i can absolutely say now that i agree with them. Our cottages is over 200 years old and the floor looks fabulous and as if it really belongs. Would absolutely recommend it and we're plannig to do another room when we completevojr extension.

Excelent Quality
WE chose this product for two small rooms in the cottage. The existing floor boards are over 100 years old and we wanted this wood to match in both board width, appearance and colour. It scored top marks on all counts and is very solid and well finished. An excellent product. Each box was very well packed in a polythene tissue like sheeting for extra protection in transit.
