Easy to use,nice colour
Unusually I used this indoors on bare floorboards. Make sure you give it a good stir, goes on easily, nice colour. Reduced when I bought it, so good value at reduced price

Great stain for engraved bench
Used to stain a memorial bench which I have carved a relatively deep design into. Great results after three coats. Survived typical Scottish weather so far! Was a tad watery at first but after a stir the consistency is exactly what you need for staining.

Thin and watery
I bought this based on the nose recent reviews (and the price) and I am not impressed at all. 2.5l was only enough for one coat but even after 2 coats the finish isn't great. I think I'll use Ronseal next year!

Perfect
I have just redone my decking with this product and am very happy with the results great coverage and finish, yes when you open it it looks wired and watery but if you stir it properly as per the instruction on the tin it blends to a good consistency which is really easy to apply, The calculator showed I would need 2 tins to do 2 coats and after 2 coats i have about 50ml left. No Idea why so many have struggles wiith what it a very simple product to use.

Awful priduct
We bought this to do our decking. It was so watery and we ended up buying twice the amount it said you needed in the tin. We will not buy it again

Teak Decking Stain
We have used this before on the deck round our summerhouse and it keeps it looking good and helps stop any rot.

Not happy with advised coverage
Stated on the tin approximate coverage 22.5sg metres, my decking is just over 24sg metres and I am on my "THIRD" tin. Costing me almost £60.00 !!

avoid!
I bought this product as I was looking for a dark coloured stain. I normally use Ronseal, but my local store didn't have my usual colour in stock. Having used many other own brand paints from B&Q I thought this product would do the trick. I was wrong. Upon opening the tin, I can only describe the product as looking like muddy water. It went on with a pink/purple tinge. 2 coats are recommended - I gave up after 3 and it's still not what I would describe as a job well done. I know stains are mean to be thinner than paints but this took the biscuit - and didn't deliver the rich dark colour I was looking for. It's recommended you apply with a brush - that doesn't really work as product was too thin to stick to the brush. Using a tray and roller (designed for decking) didn't make any difference either. In the end the best was was to pour/ dollop product onto the deck and spread out with the brush. Next year, it's back to Ronseal I'm afraid.
