Rubbish
Bought this product to colour and protect my tiki bar. The colour was ok. It was thinner than the Cuprinol I had used on the shed. However, as soon as it rained, the difference was apparent. This product was washed off. Complete waste of time and money. It looked the same as before I had started. The half a tub I have left will be going in the bin. I'm off to buy some more Cuprinol which is what I should have done initially. You get what you pay for!

Rubbish fence paint
Put three coats of this paint. Very disappointing result. Have to go and buy a more quality paint. Don’t buy the cheapest. Learnt my lesson!

Terrible texture
Not suitable for fences that are already painted at all! Ok on rough sawn timbers but rubbish on existing paint. Very strange jelly like texture which was very difficult to paint with without clumps dropping everywhere. Buy cheap buy twice.

Nice colour and easy to use
Nice colour and easy to use. Dried quickly and evenly

Dreadful.
Consistency bizarre and jelly-ish; thin and poor coverage; colour appalling - a sickly orange-yellow. Buy cheap, buy twice.

Absolute Garbage
Been using the original Golden Chestnut by B&Q for years, it was a top product for my fences and shed. Lost part of my fence in the recent gales so went & bought a new tub. It’s like dishwater and nothing like the original colour. Now looked at the reviews and seen that they are all are criticising it! Wish i had looked here first!! Now means I either have to try & find another colour to match or repaint the whole fence and shed. Looking at the bad reviews over the last year or so it provers that B&Q pay no attention to them otherwise they would have done something about it!!

Poor
No two ways about it: this is a very poor product. Coverage is thin, so several coats are needed to get a decent result, and the colour panel on the can is deceptive: 'inside of a halloween pumpkin' would be more accurate. Cheap, but a false economy.

Not happy with new colour
Used this colour for years. Don’t like this new version one bit.

Great paint
I think this paint is really good - two coats and it’s freshen up my fences

Nice colours, but loads of dripping
I like the colour. The paint is very dilutated though and drips a lot.
