Quick and easy
Bought this to strip the wax off a oak dining table that I'm restoring. Scraped off with a carbide scraper 1st to get the thick off then used this to get the remainder off. Worked a treat and a lot less effort that I thought.

Perfect Result
Unfortunately the other reviewer seems to have got his wires crossed. He purchased this to strip Ronseal Hard Floor Wax and was unhappy with the result. The reason being is that although its called Hard Floor Wax.......its still a form of varnish.........hence Colron Wax Remover would never have the desired effect. However, I have softwood timber in my home that I had used Fiddes wax to colour. I now want to gloss instead of wax. I used Colron Wax Remover with wire wool and scraper and to my suprise it simply turns the wax into water.......with a little elbow grease of course. Applying a good quality primer / undercoat and then gloss I have finished with the desired result. Brilliant product.

Not as good as expected
Bought this to strip some floorboards under a radiator and near the door that could not get to with the sander. The boards had been treated with Ronseal Hard Floor Wax so that is why I chose this product. It said on the tin that it would go back to bare wood, this was not really acheivable and although I followed the instructions to the letter was disappointed with results. In the end I resorted to Nitromors - sorry Ronseal but it did not do what it said on the tin.
