Our commercial grade hardboard is the perfect preparation for your new flooring. Applied over uneven timber sub-floors this hardboard will effectively cover gaps and general unevenness in floorboards and leave you with a flat surface ready for your new flooring. This is a 100% sustainably sourced 3mm thick hardboard made from Eucalyptus wood - it is a pure, natural product that is eco friendly, sustainably sourced and totally recyclable. Sold by the single sheet which is 610mm x 1220mm and covers 0.74m2. Treated and moisture resistant. Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) certified and 100% recyclable. Ideal for use under vinyl flooring, carpets & Flotex. Easy DIY fix using an electric stapler or flooring tacks. Lay smooth side up - very easy to cut to your size.

Size matters
The oil treated hardboard is as expected in quality and nice to cut but BEWARE it is a very small "sheet".
