Toilet/toilet seat

Toilet seat

I brought a house with this toilet already installed. The toilet seat needed replacing. I was quite concerned after reading some of these reviews regarding replacement seats. However I I went to B&Q and placed my order. Job done, so I'm confused why some people found it difficult.

DO NOT BUY

I cannot understand why BandQ are still selling this to customers. Hardly any notice from my plumber and trusted BandQ toilet. I have never read a review on any other toilet I've purchased but I wished I had. Not had an issue of seat breaking yet. Flush is rubbish you have to adjust best you can with the flimsiest bit to try turning else cistern only fills up a bit. Cistern bolt loosens , you tighten it up and two days later you have water everywhere again and have to repeat. I have a container catching water and 1.5 to 2 litres is going through it each time. I will be emailing BandQ to ask exactly why they are still selling this. In the meantime I will be asking my fitter for the receipt because I don't see why I should just throw it out and buy another. If I wanted to give money away it would be to a charity not a big company selling a product that's not fit for purpose.

WORST TOILET - HARD TO REPLACE SEAT

Unfortunately the house I bought came with this toilet. The seat broke, as all reviewers said it would. Absolutely impossible trying to find a seat to replace it. However, managed to get the Euroshowers 87370 V20 ONE Rounded Square Shaped Soft Close Toilet Seat from Amazon which is a pretty near match. Almost had a mental breakdown trying to find a replacement. Save yourself and get a different toilet.

Avoid

Bought this less than a year ago and have had no ends of problems with the toilet seat. It is actually quite dangerous now with how much it moves and it won’t tighten! Very annoying, and extremely expensive. I can’t believe they are still selling this toilet as it’s obviously not fit for purpose

DON'T BUY

Toilet seat is rubbish!! I wish I'd read the reviews. B&Q were next to useless when I went in trying to buy a replacement. I'm hoping to source one online.

Terrible seat

Toilet seat broke after a day, replaced and same happened again.

not too bad

i think this product is good, the only downside is that we have to flush twice after a number 2 but maybe there needs to be some adjustment made to the cistern
