These gold and red toilet seat fittings from Cooke and Lewis are suitable for Wooden toilet seats. They come with two oval bumpers for the top seat and five long bumpers for the bottom seat.

- Cleaning instructions: Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth, using just soap & water if required and dry hinges thoroughly
- Care instructions: Never use scourers or abrasives and make sure that the seat and lid are raised when using bleach in bowl

Incorrect description - this is NOT brass
I ordered this on the web and went to collect. The description which says: "construction material: brass" is incorrect - it is not solid brass but a weak alloy coloured brass. The old hinges broke for exactly this reason - and I do not wish to replace my toilet seat hinges every couple of years. Positive is that B&Q refunded my payment quickly without fuss, but have still not corrected the information on the website.

Can't really go wrong.
All the bits you'll need and several you may not - unlike some of the cheap internet shops. However, the screws are too long - unless you have a fairly thick seat and lid, so bear that in mind and just use shorter ones (e.g. the ones from the old fitting) if they look like they'll go all the way through the wood.
