- Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth, using just soap & water, taking care to dry hinges thoroughly. Never use scourers or abrasives as these will damage the product surface, ensure seat & lid are raised when using bleach in bowl

Luciana toilet seat - hinges
Like all the other reviewers - hinge broke after 12 months. Very poor quality. Currently in discussions with customer care as to replacement hinges??? Let's wait and see what happens.

Save your money
I bought this 6 months ago, I would have thought the soft touch would last longer than 6 months, save your money don't waste it on this item.

Rubbish product
Three products fractured across the seat in recent years. It's not as though at under 13st I am a real heavyweight. Recent visit to B&Q had none available (? have they stopped making them) I am looking elsewhere for something more robust.

Improved quality
This is the third Luciana toilet seat (for the same toilet) in 6 years. The hinges failed on the previous two which was extremely disappointing. I can see the hinges are completely different on this seat and they look far better quality so I hope they last a bit longer.

Hinges poor
Hinge broke after 8 months, will have to go back to B&Q for replacement due to shape of toilet

Easy to fit
Had to buy this as the hinges on my original seat purchase broke after only 16 months. I saw from other reviews that other buyers had had the same problem. It should be possible to just buy replacement hinges.

Poor hinge, needed replacement after 2 years!
Originally purchased along with the toilet, however the hinge snapped just after 2 years. Luckily they stock this item otherwise it would have meant a new toilet as the shape of the toilet is very bespoke. Can see the same thing happening again, Such a poor product!

Replacement due to first one breaking..enough said
Hinges broke on the one that came with the toilet within 18 months. Bowl is an odd shape so had to buy this exact one to replace (or replace the whole toilet). B&Q were the cheapest however.
