This Cooke & Lewis Noli black toilet seat features a soft close function, meaning that it will close slowly and quietly when put down. The seat is made from sturdy MDF.

Honestly the worse loo seat I have ever bought
I bought two of these on December 24th and they were a pain to install. It was impossible to get them to sit straight and within a week they were both slightly loose. We tried tightening them which was ok for a day or so before they became loose again. Then one completely broke at the hinges. B&Q were great and let us return them despite our lost receipt. But seriously do not buy this item!

Awful
Don't waste your money. I bought 2, one for each of my toilet. One was broken when I bought it, the hinges fell to bits. The other broke after 5 days, same thing the hinges fell to bits

Not good at all
Purchased in February 2020 has fallen to pieces 5 times now fed up and require this exchanged.

This seat is not bad
The only two things I find wrong with this seat is the howl is slightly smaller and the instruction ar rubbish thay say to put the two securing pins to the back by sistun this way round the seat whont stay up if you turn them around so thay are facing forward and tighten the two 7mm nuts beind the grey caps on the hinges then th seat stays up and I found the soft close works slow but works I find that there are still toilet seats out there that are half the price that are a lot better

Rubbish needs flushing down the loo
Purchased this seat thinking for the price it would be good quality. The fixings brackets are totally useless. Seat does not fit securely to the pan and slips side ways when you move. Try to tighten it too much and the securing plug pops out of the basin. My Initial review was blocked and in the time taken to re-write the left hinge has now fallen apart. Absolute rubbish do not buy. If I could get a refund I would but sadly I threw the receipt away with the box. Was told in store that due to Covid if seat out of polythene wrapper than can't exchange or refund... I have also put the seat as far forward as possible and the toilet lid won't stay up, not easy for a man holding two things....

Rubbish seat!!
Awful! Why didn’t I read the reviews before I purchased this? Chipped when opened. Impossible to fit. Arghhhh!!! Do not buy!!!!

Terrible
I purchased this make a couple of months ago and within a few weeks the plastic coating started to crack and the MDF showing through. I should have taken it back but Christmas came along and I felt it was too late after that never had a Toilet do that before.

Do not buy this seat
Purchased this earlier this year. Definitely not soft close. Took the first one back but did not have a receipt because it was 31 days but store did give a replacement, same product. Again not soft close. Seat as now broke back hinge broken on inside. Very poor for the money.
