This Cooke & Lewis Romeo white toilet seat features a soft close function, meaning that it will close slowly and quietly when put down. The seat is made from plastic.
- Only fixings included
- Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth, using just soap & water, taking care to dry hinges thoroughly. Never use scourers or abrasives as these will damage the product surface, ensure seat & lid are raised when using bleach in bowl
- Compatible with Romeo toilets

Poor Design
Purchased this replacement seat, when fitting it found that the rear rubber seat support pads do not sit on the rim of the loo. Therefore when you sit on it the seat it is being bent and will therefore break in time. To ensure the seat sits on the loo correctly I had to machine away approximately 5 mm from the top of the hinge posts. Also the lid does not sit down correctly on the seat due to the moulded shapes being different, and when the seat is lowered the lid also has a tendency to follow suit. If these design shortcomings were sorted B&Q (PJH Mouldings) would have a reasonably good product!

Fitting
Second toilet seat, both cracked and the fittings are useless so hard to get at.

doesn't fit well
have had this seat a few months and it keeps loosening off. Fiddly to tighten it.

Rubbish now fitted five of these in two bathrooms
Bad quality either break / snap loses soft close or hinge wears B and Q you should be with drawing this product !!

rubbish
These are rubbish for the money. I replace them on average every year as i can’t get another toilet seat to fit!! If anyone knows a cheaper one that will fit I’d be very grateful

Appalling
If you get anymore than 6 months out of this toilet seat you would have done well, a very flimsy and appalling product, you have to replace it though as nothing else will fit.

Easy tp install
Easy to install. Slow closing, even on the fast opening setting, so no trapped fingers. Removing the old seat was more tricky.

Waste of money
I brought his toilet seat roughly around 5 weeks ago. My mum warned me about buying this but I didn't listen. It is now pealing away in 4 different areas and I can not stress how dissapointed I am. I paid for my old toilet seat to be removed and replaced with this one. I then had to pay to have someone remove it so I could take it back. I couldn't find the receipt and showed my bank statement but was told that this doesn't prove to be for this toilet seat. I

So easy to fit - perfect!
I bought this a few weeks ago to replace the previous seat that split (my fault not manufacturers). It arrived very promptly and to my surprise fitted within a couple of minutes. Just the job.

Poor quality
the seat had only been in a short time and the surface cracked
