Good wood poor hinges
This is the second seat I've bought and the hinges have gone again. Metal corrodes and soft close doesn't work after a short period. Absolute rubbish!!

poor durability
Bought 7 months ago, hinge mechanism now failed, snapped peg in "soft close mechanism". All hinge chrome works corroding badly with plating coming off. Waste of money. Buy something else.

poor hinges
After only a year from buying this product, the hinges had started to badly corrode. The wooden seat itself is of high quality, and is still good after 10 years. The hinges however are ridiculously poor.

Good colour
It is soft close until the last 2 inches then it lands with a bang.

Kept breaking.
I bought this product a year ago and within a few weeks the hinges had broken. I took the seat off and repaired the hinges. I have done this 5-6 in the last year. The wood is beautiful but the hinges are poor and really let this product down. Off to buy a new seat!

Really Poor Quality
I bought this less than a year ago and had to take it back within a day as when taking it out of the box one of the hinges broke. Fitted the replacement fine, within a few months the metal effect had started to corrode and now the soft close doesn't work. Only good thing about this is the guarantee. Taking it back for refund.
