Craig & Rose's ARTISAN off-the-shelf speciality collection of decorative paints and finishes allows you to create bold, beautiful and bespoke effects in your home. Make a statement in the living room, bedroom, or study.
- Suitable for use on Walls & ceilings
- Surface Preparation - Remove loose or flaking paint. Fill cracks or holes with a filler and sand smooth. Lightly abrade any silk, satin or glossy painted surfaces before painting over. Clean and dust-off surfaces before painting. Bare or porous surfaces will require sealing with Craig and Rose purpose undercoat.
- Instructions for Use - Stir contents well before use. Cut in around the edges of the wall, apply the first coat with a long pile roller, working in small sections. Smooth the surface with a steel trowel with broad, sweeping strokes. Repeat this process over the entire wall. Apply 3 coats using the same process. Using 600 grit sandpaper polish the final coat at least 2-4 hours after the final coat has dried.

Looks great but prepare to sweat
Bought this product to add some extra texture and style to my walls. The product is quite thick, which helps to create the textured surface but also uses quite a lot of product. You can probably get around 3m X 2.4m area painted per tin, so it's expensive for paint but cheaper than other wall finishes. The product looks fantastic once it's finished. Warning: Whilst it's fairly easy to apply and achieve the polished concrete look, it does require a fair amount of sanding during the final stage (which must be completed within 24 hours of applying the final coat). If you're taking this on as a DIY job, I'd recommend having a second pair of hands to help alleviate the sore arms!
