Croydex Pencil Chrome Effect Brass Light Pull
I was looking for a new light pull as my 4 year old Granddaughter now knows that a light pull is not a toy. This product failed to meet my expectations for the following reasons. 1. The string was too short, (2) Instead of a screw fit (as mentioned in the instructions) it was push fit and come apart easily and is held together by threading the cord through the dis-assembled weight, and tied knot exposed at the bottom of the weight, The only good thing I can say about this product was that the string ends did not fray.

Not fit for purpose!
Oddly, despite the instructions saying to 'unscrew' an end to thread through the cord and knot after, this piece doesn't have a screw fitting, on either end. Both ends have a push-fit cap with rubber washer, so if you were to do as instructed the end would come off when you pull the body to turn on/off the light. A solution would be to thread the cord through the whole thing and knot outside, but not the point when you're looking for a stylish product and don't want an ugly white knot on the outside! I could superglue the top shut but I think it's just going to go back for a refund. Shame as it's a nice quality item.
