Ribbeck oak wood effect self-adhesive vinyl film is easy to apply to clean, flat surfaces for a quick and easy makeover on kitchen doors, table tops, furniture, shelves and home accessories.
- Instructions for Use - Peel away a small section of backing paper and stick it to the surface you're covering. Smooth the film from the centre out to the edges peeling away the backing paper a little at a time. If you make a mistake, gently peel back and re-apply, being careful not to stretch the film. It's usually easier to cut the film slightly larger than the area you're covering and trim away the excess with a scalpel, rather than trying to cut the film exactly to size before application. To remove air bubbles prick with a pin and smooth out to the edge.
- Instructions for Care - Wipe over with a damp cloth or for more stubborn marks use a proprietary cleaner. Dry off with a soft dry cloth

So easy to use, even if you make mistakes
This is so good and looks so effective, yes it probably won't last and I'll need to replace it again but it has completely transformed my kitchen worktops - and for <£25...... an absolute MUST if you are wanting to refresh your worktops on a small budget.

Genuinely impossible
I can't explain how absolutely impossible this is to lay properly over a 2m worktop. 4 rolls, 4 different methods, utterly useless. The rolls COME with wrinkles. The starting point, makes it impossible to get a good finish. Can't even use the water and washing up liquid trick, because the glue is water based and it ruins it. This stuff is beyond bad. It's so bad, that I have decided it will be less effort (and potentially less expense given how many rolls I'd need to go through) to just buy new worktops and fit them. Multi day job, but almost guaranteed to be less stressful and rage inducing than laying this absolutely terrible product. If I could give it minus 5 stars, I would.

Brilliant stuff!
I love DC fix adhesive vinyl. It’s a low cost way to update furniture and kitchen worktops! I love the Ribbeck Oak especially. When I got it, I thought the oak print looked a little fuzzy and I was unsure, however having used it on my kitchen worktops and bathroom shelves, I am delighted with the result. Covering my worktops took a couple of hours and a bit of effort, but so worth it! Really pleased.
