Terrible product - it breaks, splits & peels off..
Fine for the 1st 2 months but within a year it had all started to break and come away... avoid.

Save your money
Waste of money...no sooner had I fitted them than they started to come out

Product let down
Whilst the anti-slip properties are good I was unable to use the adhesive supplied with the first box purchased. The adhesive cartridge had a manufactured date of 2013 and I was unable to get any adhesive out of the tube, it was almost solid ! The whole box was returned for replacement and the new cartridge had a manufacture date of 2017 so I had high hopes of success but no. This cartridge was only slightly better and it took a great deal of effort to get any adhesive out. Spent a whole morning and only half the job done, nursing blisters from use of the cartridge gun.

Not Enough Adhesive
Just fitted two packs of this product - very disappointed because there is not enough adhesive provided to fit all of the contents. I managed to fit 20 meters (out of 25 in the pack) before running out of glue. Had to use a tube of "No Nails" to finish the job, hope it stays stuck down.

Anti slip decking inserts
Great product. No more fear of walking on the decking when it's wet

Stops slipping
Just what I was looking for, it does just what it should do, glue a bit hard to get out also found it a lot cheaper on line.

Basically good - these tips might help
I have just completed the fitting of 8 packs of this anti-slip material and thought it might be worth sharing some tips for potential purchasers. Basically I'm happy, but there were some issues which are worth noting and tips to pass on: 1) Get the best glue gun you can - a cheap one will not push the adhesive out of the dispenser effectively (it's quite thick and your hand will tire before you've finished a couple of strips). Don't use a cheap plastic one. 2) Use good, preferably professional-quality knee-pads - I wouldn't even attempt starting this job without them, especially if you're of more "mature" years or your knees are already a bit dodgy! 3) Work on a warm day - as the picture on the product page accidentally shows, the strips arrive slightly twisted and unless they're made more pliable you'll be trying to push one end into the channel on the decking while the other end twists out of the glue at the other end. In the end I left the strips on top of the Aga for 15 mins before using and even on a July day they still stiffened up again after about 10 mins outdoors. 4) Don't overdo the glue - a 3-4mm strip is just right. It also needs to be applied very evenly - if you get blobs then these will ooze out around the strip and it's messy stuff if you get it all over your fingers. 5) When you open each pack, sort through all the strips and try to avoid using any that kink up at the end (save these for cutting up into short lengths to finish off). The ends are the worst part to stick and in the end I used a few house bricks to hold some of the ends down until the glue had gone off. 6) Expect to have to revisit your work next day to re-stick any bits that popped out before the glue set. And maybe the day after if you've covered a large area, as you're bound to miss some. I don't want the above to sound negative, and I saved £400 by doing this job myself instead of buying the decking with the anti-slip pre-applied. B&Q also had by far the best online price. There is enough glue provided to complete each pack of strips and the finished product is very "grippy". But I can't say this was a job I'd like to repeat!

Good idea, but...
Good price at B&Q cheaper than on the net. Glue very thick like silicon. No warning that I needed to buy a caulk gun until open the box. Messy and tricky to fit. Looks good and works well. Given time again would buy non-slop strips to nail or screw onto timber steps.

Now i'm able to use my decking all year round
After labouring trying to keep my decking in use when it's slippy and dangerous. i'm so pleased that I've found DeckWright inserts they certainly do what they promise and look aesthetically pleasing.

Great Product
I bought this item this month with no hesitance as my neighbour had recommended it to me and I must say I was not disappointed. It was easy to insert and fairly priced.
