Just bought today and can barely even get the blade loaded. Absolutely terrible design.

this model was perfection
this model was perfect (DWHT10035) have had one for many years. The new model (DWHT10035L) is absolute garbage. The new blade storage latch is too thin and brittle. It broke immediately. Why would you change a perfect design? I want more of the original ones, but can only find newer trash ones with original photos for advertisement everywhere.

Dead on arrival
I can’t get the blade out. There’s nothing easy about this knife. Wasted time trying to get the blade out from straight out the box. Fiddling with anything that would make sense and nothing is happening. Worthless piece of metal. And the extra blades are INSIDE the handle and have to take it apart? Zero stars. Can’t wait for the generic customer service response. Just avoid this razor blade.

Poor Design
Supposedly a Rapid change blade design????? You have to totally disassemble the knife to change the blade. I own a lot of Dewalt tools. This by far is the worst design. Don't buy this one.

Useless
Just got it. Have spent two days trying to get the blade in. Won't go. Have spent two days trying to get it to fold. Won't fold. What was Dewalt thinking letting this be sold to the public? Now I have to return it and can't finish my project. Thanks Dewalt!

Horrible design Extremely Inefficient
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE So difficult to get blades out & DESTROYS workflow and efficiency. The REALLY TOUGH thing is I’m an avid Dewalt tool guy. Shocked they would even have a product like this!!!! Truly expected way better than this. On my way to return NOW!
