Do not but. Defective Lock Mechanism.
Unfortunately this measure despite being a lovely piece of kit at first, suffers from a defective locking design; a flimsy piece of plastic for the lock which starts to fail after a handful of uses as it slowly slides back in while locked. After a few months of DIY use the lock no longer works and DeWalt Support weren’t interested in helping once I got in touch.If you google this measure (DWHT36027) on DEWALT UK website you will see it has a one star rating with similar comments. The same seems apparent with many dewalt measures looking online. So unless you just want to add another tape measure to the landfill :( please don’t buy this.
