Lasted only 4 months
It was good while it lasted. Began to flash after 3 months then gave up after 4 months.

very poor quality
I purchased this yesterday, the light quality during the 2 minutes that it was working was a horrible yellow, many of the colours in the room were poorly rendered and everything looked nasty. SLightly relieved that it broke after just 2 minutes and now have to travel to the shop to get money back.

Surprisingly bright
I bought this, and was a bit wary of it because of the shape I thought it may not be as bright as the traditional low energy bulb it replaced, because when you look at it, it looks like a traditional bulb but with part of the bulb covered. It is bright from first switching on, it does not start dull and brighten up after a couple of mins Only issue price, but they will come down, could also do with brighter lights, I also get confused over lumens would prefer more attempting to compare lumen brightness to watts.

LED Lightbulbs
100 W equivalent not too easy to come by so good buy, full light instantaneously, very economical to run and great lifespan.should pay for itself in a year or two.

Good bayonet bulb
I bought this bulb and I am perfectly satisfied. Still think buying bulbs for older people must be difficult.

Died within a month!
Don't bother. A nice bulb - very bright but died within a month of use. Will be taking back for a refund.
