Useless on oil based paints

Simply didn't touch the paint. After five minutes of trying the liquid looked almost as clear as when I started. Complete waste of time and money.

Absolute rubbish, don't waste your money. Star rating should be zero!

Although this product is a "paintbrush cleaner" I now rarely use it for this purpose due to the proliferation of water based paints. It does work for the cleaning of brushes used in oil paints, but it also works for the removal of the glue and similar substances left by the removal of sticky labels that manufacturers and retailers insist on sticking on to their wares. I was originally recommended a similar product when I was battling to remove the residue of brown packing tape from tiles. It worked like a dream and I now always have a bottle on the shelf. If it is used on a product that may damage such as clothing, please try a bit in an inconspicuous corner first!

This stuff is so dilute that it struggles to clean any brush. As a result you need to use large quantities of cleaner to get at best a half-cleaned brush. It is unquestionably the worst brush cleaner I have ever used.
