These G9 capsule LED light bulbs have a 2.8W power consumption, which is equivalent to a 28W bulb and give off a warm white light.

Bright 300 Lumen G9 LED Bulb
Excellent product. I was searching for a bright LED G9 Bulb and finally found at B&Q. It is 300 lumen and meets my requirement as I have a big lounge.

Expensive but bright
I bought 6 of these bulbs after installing a new light fitting and finding one bulb blown. Although these bulbs are quite expensive they use 85% less energy than standard bulbs and I was surprised to find them actually brighter than the 28watt bulbs the fixture came with (see picture with new LED bulb and 2 standard bulbs). The bulbs are also guaranteed for 3 years and there is no warm up time. Apart from the cost the only down side is that the bulbs are longer than alternatives and so stick out of the bottom of the light slightly. All in all after changing all 6 bulbs I'm pleased and I'm now considering changing all my halogen bulbs to LED.
