not a good fit - get St Steel effect instead
I fitted this to the wall ok and the electrical connections are straightforward , but it's cheap plastic and the front and back simply do not meet up - it has a rubbber gasket seal but this only works down one side or the other - not all around . so I had to add gaffer tape - it's a bargain price , but not good - whereas the St Steel effect version is superb by comparison

Worked well for a good while until the hinge broke
Seems like a nice enclosure and it did stay watertight and a standard plug fits inside with lid closed down. The lid catch can be hard to open - it is tight and needs to be. However, though it has never seen the sun, the plastic of the hinge is inadequate as it just disintegrated when I last opened it. I now have to find something more robust. Shame.

Perfect for clever spa
With a little modification this works perfectly for clever spa plugs. All you need is a two gang spacer and 6 longer screws to make the socket work. Really easy to do.

Doesn't work with cleverspa RCD plugs !!
Just spent the last 2 hours wiring this in only to find that when closed, it is just too tight and clicks the RCD plug off, so no power to the hot tub A few more mm on the cover and it would be all good. Not happy at all...

Does the job at good price
It is a bit flimsy especially the blanking plates to adjust the socket position inside the housing and the plastics used are thin throughout. Used one for about 3 years and it has done the job. That said, the first I used was in a sheltered position. I have another job and would use the same again but it will be in a more exposed location. I come on here to check the IP rating and it is not even specified online! For an external electrical item that is fundamental and not acceptable, B&Q. Thankfully google and competitors are your friend and it is IP66 widely quoted, here is one https://www.bgelectrical.uk/public/downloads/data-sheets/weatherproof/WP21_WP22_WP23_WP24_13amp_Socket_Outlets.pdf Other than that the cable catch is quite tight to lock & open.
