Rubbish
The switch last 3 months after less than 10 time of use I have to replace all the part now , Avoid buying this rubbish

Rusty screws!
Installed fine for a year. Went to open it up to wire the switch to some external lights and all the screws have rusted. Can't undo them so will have to smash the box off the wall. Buy cheap buy twice!

Lets in Water
Bought this to turn our garden lights on, all fitted as expected but first rain and there is a flaw, where the flap opens lets water in on the hinge part. So now it trips the fuse on the socket side. No water getting passed the seal as its dry inside the main part.

Basic, but reasonable value
Wanted an outdoor socket for garden tools, and a separate switch for a water feature - at under £10 this does the job OK. I fitted a fused RCD device on the spur supplying the socket, so there's no need to use a separate RCD in the socket (which probably wouldn't fit due to the cover not opening far enough). Casing is plastic and will flex if attached to an uneven surface - this could affect the fit of the switch/socket and the weatherproofing if the seal isn't evenly tight.

Easy to fit, but doesn’t accept RCD adaptor!
This switch is a good example of getting exactly what you pay for. It's inexpensive and easy to fit (but see comments below re RCD). If your walls are uneven, you'll need to mount the unit on a wooden block to avoid the case flexing. You can also wire the switch either to control the socket itself or independently for some other device. Note that, when installed for exterior use, the installation work may be notifiable under Part P of the Building Regulations. Drawbacks? Yes -- a serious one and two minor ones: Serious (discovered some time later): The socket cover doesn’t hinge back far enough to allow an RCD adaptor to be plugged in. This is poor design given that the unit is intended to be used with garden electrical equipment! I shall now have to replace it with a socket that has a built-in RCD. Minor: The switch is supposed to work with the cover closed but I found that the plastic window was too thick and inflexible to enable the switch to throw fully. The covers are not very securely hinged (just a couple of small plastic lugs) and are easily dislodged if handled roughly.
