Poor timer and water sealing
Bought 2 of these to switch various garden features on and off. The timer jammed on the second day at the selected start time and was replaced. That too failed after 3 days. Quite surprised as to the amount of water ingress through the front cover on both units. I finally replaced both units with the MK electronic timer versions which are far superior. I guess you only get what you pay for.

Timer Failed after 3 years
This timer is used for my water feature so it is only used for 9 months of the year but now it has failed after 3 years. Not really impressed as it is a fairly expensive unit. Guess I will have to look for a quality one next time.

Needs to be deeper.
I purchased this to be able to run outside Christmas lights, however the plugs for these type of lights tends to be deeper than standard plugs, or have a plastic screw fastener feeding into the plug. Therefore this unit cannot really accommodate these types of light however nor can any other models I looked at prior to buying. The solution was to run a standard extension into a dry box however would be better if designers considered Christmas lights when developing this item, which must be one of the reasons to install this unit.

Failed after 2 years
I bought this to run 24/7 outdoors. The timer kept time, and worked perfectly, until recently it randomly did not switch on. hitting the unit freed it up, clearly the timer unit itself has started to seize. I'll have to buy another one and swap out the timer unit, as the main casein is bolted securely into our shed.

This time it's right!
I had been given a set of low voltage garden lights and wanted an easy way of controlling them. This timer does the job to perfection. Fairly straightforward to change from 13Amp socket, just needed to extend the bare ends.

Time will tell
Nice water tight casing. Good seal on lid when plug left in. Timer seems to work ok the lever does feel abit flimsy.
