Seems fine.
I decided to remove the old fashioned cistern overflow arrangement so I used this plug to lock the hole. I was not sure whether the thread bit should be inside or outside the cistern (opted for the latter). I'm not a plumber so if there is a right and wrong way, some instructions would have been helpful.
