The Betley Butterfly Victorian Scroll Lever Privacy Lock door handles are a stylish, modern feature of door furniture. They are suitable for all internal wooden door types. Similar to a bathroom door handle, in that it locks by turning a snib on the inside, and using a coin to gain emergency access from the outside. However, unlike bathroom door handles there is no bathroom sash lock involved. Locking is achieved by jamming the lever in place in a closed position preventing unwanted access whilst remaining universally appealing and aesthetically pleasing. The Black plating on these handles have mutilple layers of plating to enhance the depth of colour and is finished off by hand to give that ultimate professional finish. The black layer can be decorative, provide corrosion resistance, ease cleaning procedures, or increase surface hardness . The dimensions of the backplate are approximately 118 mm x 40 mm the Scroll handle is approx 100mm with a good solid thickness that just by looking at it says QUALITY.
