Poor door with poor warranty
Splashed out on this door as I wanted something that looked fabulous, took a chance given only one review and paid more for it than now advertised. Didn’t fit the door straight away, and certainly didn’t realise that this only had one year warranty, I should of checked this, and reported the issue immediately when it happened. The wood beneath both glass panels bows and go darker as it is sodden from water leaking from somewhere within the door. We treated this door according to instructions and actually went belt and braces and resembled more than recommended. B and Q are unable to do anything do to the door being out of warranty and the actual supplier has not offered any guidance as to how to rectify it. Poor to say the least, I’ll never purchase something of value from B and Q or any subsidiary suppliers again.

Beautiful door, good service, poor lock security
The door is heavy and solid, likewise the frame and the wood finish is superb. The service from the actual suppliers (not B&Q) was excellent with them talking me through the detail of fittings prior for final specification. HOWEVER....the multi point lock is of a very poor security standard with only a basic Euro Cylinder lock (do a search for 'lock snapping' to get an idea), thus you will need to add an extra £50-£100 to purchase higher quality exterior handle and cylinder from elsewhere. Had i known this, i probably would have chosen a raw door and frame and had locks to a secure specification fitted. I purchased the door in early Feb-2016 when it was 25% cheaper than currently advertised (Mar-2016) - and so my 'value' rating of 3/5 is based on the lower price and the need for additional security spend.
