Product details

Product information

Find your perfect shade with a Dulux colour tester – this Indigo shade paint sample has a matt finish and is suitable for interior walls and ceilings.

  • Surface Preparation - Ensure the area to be painted is clean and any loose paint is removed
  • Instructions for Use - Apply using the built-in mini roller

Features and benefits

  • Mess-free application with the built-in mini roller
  • Water-based emulsion
  • We want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you
  • Dulux one coat has been specifically formulated to easily give you the perfect finish in just one coat. The built-in mini roller applies the paint to the wall just like a decorating roller, so you can see exactly how the colour will look before you start painting.

Does what it says on the tin

Lovely colour. Easy to apply paint. Covered in one coat. Exactly what I wanted.

Not easy to work with

I found it hard to deal with. A dark shade over pale wall will always need two coats so it isn’t that, it’s that the product starts to come off the wall if you get too near a still wet area with your brush. I gave up and bought the nearest thing nowadays to standard emulsion - the dulux vinyl emulsion. That is also much thicker than it need be but it’s okay. The shade itself. Well, if you look at the b&q card for Indigo Shade, it is a little different than the colour block on the stand at the Dulux Centre. (Where I had to go for the vinyl emulsion). The Dulux Centre had the true colour. If I had wanted deep navy, I would have bought that. By this time I was so far in I couldn’t face painting over all I had done already!

Different colour

Nothing like the muted navy blue on the tin , but vivid bright blue , taking it back

Feature wall done!

This paint comes in a fun range of colours and covers thickly, so one coat was fine. Looks good and easy to apply.

Good tester pot and a nice colour although we ended up going with something different

Delighted 🤩

Great paint to work with. Super thick so non drip. Covered over a green wall in one coat…happy days!

Nothing like the colour advertised

More like a very bright vivd blue, nothing like the deep blue green navy on the picture.

Lovey shade of blue

Real nice thick paint. It matches my kitchen beautifully. I only needed one coat just like it mentions on the tin.

Marks everywhere I touch

I bought this and painted my bedroom wall quite a time ago. But from next day it started showing white marks wherever I touch or even if a cloth is brushed against! Won't recommend to anyone, colour is excellent though

Love love love the colour but not hard wearing

I absolutely love this colour, exactly what I wanted for our feature wall. Only took one coat as the pot said, although takes longer to apply as it is very thick on the brush and need to be careful to get good coverage. I agree with another review that it marks very easily. I have a 1 year old and he has knocked toy blocks on the wall, this left a mark and was made 10x worse when I just rubbed it lightly with a clean duster. It spread dust marks everywhere. Think I’ll need to touch this bit up soon.
