This Natural hessian satinwood wood & metal paint has been specially designed to give a durable and long-lasting finish on a range of surfaces. Simply apply with a brush or roller and leave for 6 hours to dry - a great way to give the surfaces additional protection. Covers up to 16 m² per litre on average.
- Suitable for use on Metal & wood surfaces
- Surface Preparation - Scrape and remove flaking or defective paint and sand down the surface to remove any sheen. Make sure the surface is clean (no dirt or grease) and dry. When painting radiators make sure that they are cold
- Instructions for Use - Apply 2 coats with a brush, leave at least for 6 hours between coats and even longer during cold and damp. If the colour change is strong, more coats may be required
- Instructions for Storage - Store the paint in dry conditions and protect from extreme temperatures

Poor Colour matching
Had to buy an extra tin and was disappointed it's colour match was very poor

Not as before
I had used this paint many times before and had wanted to paint a built in wardrobe with this to match the walls.I had used Zinsser undercoat and then the refresh paint I had used on the walls to make sure I didn’t want white frames etc it looked brilliant but then I decided to paint the wood with this once wood and metal it had separated in the tin took ages to mix and went on terrible couldn’t believe it, definitely a changed formula. Now I’m back to sanding and will use the refresh emulsion after primer. Very disappointed and will not use this product again

Good Product
I used this product over door frames and skirting boards, it took between 2 and 3 coats to get to the desired finish, worked well with both brushes and rollers. It took around 6 cans to paint the skirting and door frames of my 2 bedroom house something to bare in mind when thinking about coverage.

Good quality paint
If you’re look for some between medium mat and sheen this is the paint it’s not too shine

Satinwood metal and wood paint
Used to paint wooden door and frame, preparation was light sanding followed by damp wipe / dry wipe. Application was ok using a good quality / new brush. Needed 3 coats for a decent finish. Looks nice but not great adhesion, easily chipped if accidentally caught. Brushed cleaned up ok with warm soapy water. Colour as expected based upon colour brochure. Overall satisfied with final finish but would to alternatives next time
