At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.

This paint went on well and looked classy. Finish was not shiny which I wanted. Good coverage. Used on woodwork and radiators, good finish on both.

This only gets the one star because it doesn't smell nasty like the solvent based stuff. I bought this to repaint woodwork in a new-build house wit matt white woodwork. the paint covers poorly, leaving brush marks and streaks.
After the woodwork had dried thoroughly, I found that when I caught the door with my fingernail while opening it, the paint came off under my nail leaving a clear mark on the surface.
Now need to bite the bullet and buy more solvent-based eggshell to do the job properly. These water-based paints are useless for woodwork!
Completely useless - worst paint ever.

This is the first water based eggshell paint I have purchased.
It dries very quickly - so quickly that it is impossible not to leave brush strokes behind.
Despite painting over only slightly yellowed old white paint - it required THREE coats to get a uniform white colour.
Diamond tough finish? - I'm afraid not - even the slightest knock causes the paint to come off.
I will not be buying this Dulux paint again.
Lovely finish after some practice

This paint caused me a bit of a headache but I ended up working out its intricacies after a few days of trial and error. I hope these tips can be useful to someone.
I bought it to paint an understairs cupboard I got made out of MDF. I prepped the MDF with 3 thin layers of Leyland Acrylic Primer Undercoat, lightly sanding with 220 sandpaper between each coat. I used a small 4” foam roller to do this, and it worked a treat.
However, when I tried using the same roller on the doors of the cupboard using Dulux’s Diamond Eggshell, I kept getting terrible, obvious roller marks. I bought more 4” rollers with various textures (mohair, fluffy ones, etc.) and same result every time. Horrible roller marks wouldn’t go away! I also read that other people seemed to be having the same problem.
In the end, I tried a normal Harris 9” roller I had bought to paint my walls. Because the roller is bigger, it loads and applies a lot more paint, leaving no marks.
The trick for a nice finish is to roll in one direction only. No back and forth or W shapes. And by lightly rolling the surface after laying down the paint, you get a beautiful, perfectly even orange peel texture.
I’m very pleased with the finished look, almost matte with a very delicate sheen.
Where I had to use a brush, I had to put a lot more paint on my brush than I would using oil based paint. I haven’t tried it on skirting yet, but I heard Purdy Monarch Elite brushes were good ones to use for a nice finish.
Very poor finnish

Bought this as I thought it would give a superior finish to normal eggshell.
Definately not the case paint not easy to roller and leaves heavy brush marks. Very disappointed
