Features and benefits

At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.

I really cannot understand the poor reviews. As a decorator I love the Dulux Trade paints and this is no exception. Great paint to work with and for me the smell is perfectly acceptable - as it has been for all my clients for a long time.

Trade paints are designed for use predominantly for ‘the trade’. They are better than the standard off the shelf Gloss paints for the normal DIY’er. Higher opacity and yes different to work with - in this case a runnier paint - but those who know how to use paint will find this easy to work with - again I really do not understand why this has got ANY poor reviews.

Been a decorator for 40 years and this is the only solvent brilliant white gloss I will use, All solvent paint will yellow with lack of natural light but this is better than most.
I use acrylic and water based paints in darker areas, but some are hybrid part solvent mostly water.

    Possibly worst paint ever

Quite possibly the worst paint I have ever used..... thin and watery, to the point where my builders called me in and asked me if I could tell where they had pointed.... I couldn’t see but could feel it as it was tacky! They told me it wouldn’t be worth doing anything with it as it was so bad. Ended up swapping from trade to standard dulux gloss which was far superior

This product is exactly as it says on the tin, leaves a fantasticly smooth shiny gloss surface. Easy to apply and goes a long way and it's tough, which is what i needed.
All gloss paint will discolour in direct sunlight, please be aware you will need to recoat every so often.
The paint does have an odour but a solvent based paint does.
