This Black paint has been specially designed to give a durable and long-lasting satin finish on exterior doors & windows. Simply apply with a brush or roller and leave for touch dry in 1 hour to dry - a great way to give the surfaces additional protection. Covers 10m² per litre on average.
- For use on Doors & windows
- Suitable for use on Metal & wood surfaces
- Surface Preparation - Before using this product ensure all surfaces to be painted are clean and dry with no dirt, grease, rust or flaking paint. Areas affected by mould, algae or fungi should be treated with an appropriate fungicidal wash. Metal surfaces: Remove rust using Hammerite Rust Remover. On new galvanized surfaces, allow to weather for six months before application. New bare wood: To ensure 6 year weather protection is achieved, prepare bare wood with Weathershield Exterior Preservative Primer+ (BP), wiping off any excess. Surface defects should be repaired using the appropriate Polycell product. uPVC: Apply direct to clean substrate.
- Instructions for Use - Stir thoroughly before use to ensure the paint is completely mixed. Apply two coats by brush or roller, allowing 4 hours between coats. Tip: Apply only in dry conditions, above 10°C and when bad weather is not forecast. If applying on uPVC, the use of light colours only, particularly on south facing elevations is recommended to avoid solar heat gain damaging the uPVC.

Does exactly what it says on the tin 100%
We brought this multi purpose paint for outside work, metal,wood and plastic, so easy to use, covers really well, and the satinwood sheen, is so much more pleasing on the eye ,rather than gloss. Would definitely buy again.

Excellent coverage
Used this to paint a really old wood grain effect upvc door, took two coats but delighted with the results. Not cheap but you get what you pay for and a lot cheaper than a new door!

Great coverage
Bought this to paint aluminium guttering and plastic facias. I went on smoothly and gives good coverage (I did coats). Looks really smart and better than changing guttering when I here it as nothing wrong with it. Would highly recommend.

Dulux Multi Surface
Fantastic produce - bought 2.5 ltrs that did 2 double bay windows - 1 double window - 2 doors and a porch - 3 coats on each - very impressed with the quality of the product as well

Magic paint
I bought this paint following the replacement of our single glazed front door with a double glazed unit. I stripped the door back, undercoated the door then painted up the door, I thought it looked great. I have been stopped on four occasions with people saying that the door looked really great and which paint was used; I was happy to oblige.

Excellent product at a good price two coats and double garage door looks transformed. easy to apply, clean rollers and brushes in water, fast drying and lovely finish. Highly recommended

Worth it
Common sense has finally prevailed, I'm relieved that a company like Dulux has come to the rescue, it was costing me £18 for 750ml until I spotted this tin although a lot of cash (£48) I think. I got a 2.5ltr tin same colour black satinwood and it can be used in numerous ways. Bargain really
