Does what it says on the tin
Have used this several times now and is fine for the job, the only negative is that it is not easy to fill with water. There is a rubber stopper which does not drop when water it added which means its very slow, I have taken to holding it out of the way with a small stick!

Stopped working on same day.
I did the kitchen and it worked well. Tried a door a few hours later and it just turned off by itself and won't turn back on. Water level is fine. Just a cheap steamer.

Do Not Buy
Bought this wallpaper steamer last week. Quality is very poor. Flimsy plastic and not fit for purpose. After using twice, a hole appeared in the underside of the water chamber resulting in significant water spillage over the carpet. Returned to store, do not buy!

Not fit for purpose
JUNK.....lasts around 5 minutes before tripping out. followed instructions, water levels etc, can not be lime scale as brand new, thought it might just be a one off faulty unit, but have 2 and both do the same.

Does the job.
Bought this a couple months ago now. It hasn't let me down yet. For the price it's really all you need. A good little steam stripper.

Fantastic product
I bought this last week as I wanted to strip hall stairs and landing, I gave up trying to do it with manually. I had lining paper pained over. This steamer made it so Easy. Only tip I would give is to keep away from plugs as will fuse the whole house. 5 Star product.

Works well until stored
Really good steamer works well but when stored for some reason when you try use it again it won’t work. This has happened twice to us - I thought first one was bad luck. If you’re stripping the whole house in one hit it’ll be fab but we are going room but room and it’s annoying it breaks!

This product is unreliable
I have owned 2 of these wallpaper strippers, and found on both occasions that they last for approximately one room of wallpaper stripping. The first failed unit I put down to bad luck, after storing for a few years and plugging it in - tripped our house circuit breaker. A new unit was purchased and did the job. Last week - used the stripper, which was last used 2 years ago. Started stripping fine - then switched it off for a tea break, refilled and switched on and it blew the circuit breaker. Allowed to cool, descaled the element and filled with cold water - still blew the circuit breaker. No user serviceable parts - So these units are a disposable item - use once and throw them in the bin in my opinion. Now purchased another cheaper brand - and finished the job.

Well worth buying
Slightly concerned when I read the mixed reviews but need not have worried. Works well. Use common sense - use for short periods of time so it doesn’t over heat or boil dry. Remember that steam can give a nasty burn so wear gloves. Easy to use and makes a potentially difficult job very easy. Money well spent.
