Choice of multi tool was made easier as I already have Ebauer drill set. With interchangeable batteries it makes more financial sense. Multi tool is well designed and balanced for ease of use. Tools can be switched with ease thanks to a simple to use system.

Endless possibilities
Recieved this as a birthday present for a latent DIY enthusiast and let me say, this tool is amazing. The locking system for the blades is easy to navigate and is fairly well covered for MOST sort of blades, so do your research before shelling out. I love this thing. Jack-of-all-trades in tool form. Is it ideal for everything? No. If you need to cut alot of solid steel, get an angle grinder. If you need to plane wood for a three bedroom extension, get a belt sander. But, If you need something for every other little annoying cutting job for DIY, be it metal, wood or plastic; get this. Conduit, carpentry joints, copper piping to fix that leak you've been putting off in the bathroom? This is your guy. A great tool for so many jobs, makes the small annoyances a breeze.

Perfect for a wide range of jobs
I bought this as I had used one before and needed a plunge saw. In fact, we used the plunge saw, scraper and sanding head on the job. Used an existing EXT battery. Long battery life and plenty of power. Saw is particularly effective. Only niggle is that the velcro coating to hold the sanding sheet can slip and needs cleaning to remove dust. Overall, highly recommend.

looked at the grinder but this was cheaper and has many more uses, definitely not disappointed
