Ok replacement
The hinges are fine but the wing nuts are not fit for purpose and if overtightened slightly just become useless and the whole thing is effectively written off. It also doesn’t include any screws so I had to recycle old brass ones from the last hinges.

I'm fed up changing these every year. The warning signs are when the toil;e seat moves off centre. pay more for stainless steel.

Not very good
Bought this to replace a tarnished pair of brackets. I had to rescrew the fixing holes into the toilet seat and fill the old holes but this wasn't too much of a problem. The hinge on one side has snapped. Didn't last 12 months. It's not like it is under pressure or the temperature would make the metal brittle. Just poorly made. My opinion anyway. I won't be buying a second set.

Waste of money
Cast metal is too soft, badly threaded as well as too shallow so the threaded bar can't be secured sufficiently and the toilet seat becomes lose. Save your money and just buy a new seat.

Don't waste your money.
Bought these to replace broken hinges on a oak seat. Bad design as to the play on the hinges, and quality of them. Tried using thread lock to keep them held together but to no avail. Not fit for purpose!!!!!

Extremely limited choice.
I bought these weeks ago as a last resort as no stores had the correct fittings. Never used them as they didn’t fit. Waste of time as we’re the staff when I asked for advice. Found solution in my own workshop in the end. Every store I visited had virtually the same empty set of hooks yet they all sell numerous different toilet seat types none of which had spares available. Lols like they are more interested in selling you a completely new seat rather than spares for the one you’ve just bought from them!!! Better off not bothering. Would give it negative stars if possible.

Excellently made Hinges
Bought these to replace the rather flimsy hinges present on a wooden seat. Holes did not quite match up but the hinges covered the existing hole that did not. The hinges are nice and sturdy and the fittings were decent. Replaced however, the plastic nuts with metal wingnuts (M6 size) which are more durable.
