Sturdy frame but thin shelves
Bought from B+Q a couple of months ago. On the packaging it says the shelves can hold 286kg each, so I assumed they would be quite sturdy. If you look at the picture I thought the shelves would be around as thick as each horizonal metal strut that you can see. I was wrong - the shelves are 8mm chipboard sitting on top of the horizontal struts! They must be joking if they think 8mm chipboard can hold the weight of approx 3 grown men, it's just ridiculous. It's a shame as the rest of the package is pretty good. If they made the chipboard two or three times as thick, or reinforced it, this would be a good unit. Or they could remove the misleading claims from the packaging. As it stands it's not fit for very heavy items.

Good value
Relatively easy to put together - mallet or hammer and block of wood essential. Can be split into 2 low level sets of shelves; 1 x 3 shelf and 1 x 2 shelf. Comes with sufficient rubber feet for this too. Sturdy and rigid. Good quality powder coat. Excellent VfM. Would have been helpful if the option to split had been explained on the website before I visited the store...
