Creating an atmosphere in a 250 year old house.l

Great paint finish for an old former village in here in North Yorkshire.

Given my room depth and style

This is such a beautiful colour, it’s taken a very plain bedroom to room with depth and style. The colour blends with my cottage style curtains and my gorgeous patchwork quilt. I’ve used off white eggshell on the woodwork. In some lights the paint has green tones and grey/beige in others. It’s lovely.

Good quality paint

Have used F&B for the whole house, arguably the best colour range on the market and well worth the extra cost in comparison to other paints. The new dead flat is one of the best paints I have used. Only thing that lets the brand down is the low quality tins/tin lids. Expect more from F&B and higher price point.

Old White

Lovely colour; great depth of pigment. I bought as a tester for a new colour for my front door. Delivery was quick and straightforward

A beautiful paint colour

I am very happy with this paint colour. It is a beautiful and subtle light green/grey which adds a touch of class to any room.

A world away from the previous wall paint

The results are amazing. This is a soft, deep, chalky paint that was only a couple of tones away from the pale sage green I had before, with less yellow. But there's a world of difference. In terms of cost it was less than £100 for emulsion for the two rooms which really isn't too bad in terms of the overall budget.

Old white is a delight

Generally great, a little greener than I was expecting but looks amazing.

Happy with it

After much deliberation finally took the plunge to paint my windowless room a slightly different colour. It was between Drop Cloth and Old White and really glad went with the latter. As always, came out darker than I thought, despite painting a large sample on the wall and colour card. Still happy! It has the smallest amount of green which makes it warmer than Drop Cloth, a lot of dimension which I love about F&B. A word of warning - don’t use standard B&Q emulsion rollers and go for the premium e.g. Harris. This is the second time now that regular rollers swallowed up so much paint I had to buy another can and waste the money. I tried second coat with premium and application was superior and only used half the amount of paint than in the first coat. Also did it 1/3 of the time!
