Salon Drab is definitely NOT drab!
Excellent colour that is really versatile. Don’t let the name put you off, the colour is rich and deep without being overwhelming. Very pleased with the outcome, used this in 4 rooms!

Excellent paint for just a project I need it for
I found this company and the paint color while doing some research trying to find an authentic color to paint a reproduction transit case for some old rifles. The color looks fantastic and I couldn’t be happier.

Lansdowne House refurbishment, Notting Hill
The joinery was painted in deep chocolate brown Salon Drab and complemented with my favourite, brimming with warmth pale taupe Dimity on the walls, to add more brightness we introduced a cheerful yellow Babouche in the cupboards' internal.

Salon drab is a winner (despite the name!)
This seemed like a hold and maybe risky choice for our primary bedroom but once we saw it on the wall we were sold. It’s warmly dramatic, and now we can’t imagine any other choice! We went with the flat finish for extra depth but typically use modern emulsion.

Gorgeous but not a consistent chocolate brown
This is a gorgeous color but it's a true chameleon in my room, which has windows in all four directions. In one area it's the perfect chocolate brown and on the next wall it's a medium-dark rich taupe with green undertone, on yet another wall it looks gray like a desert dove, this is all at the same time! So if you have a lot of windows in your house, make sure you sample. It's very organic feeling, reminiscent of tree bark, chocolate, stone, feathers. My house is constructed with a lot of wood and teal shades of rock so I needed a rich color that would blend these organic elements, and I love the results. But depending on your light, if you want a consistent true chocolate brown, this may not be it.
