Estate Emulsion is Farrow & Ball’s signature finish for interior walls and ceilings. Its distinctive chalky matt finish minimises imperfections, and scatters light to fully express the depth of their colours. The flat, velvety effect it creates even brings added richness to darker colours.

- Instructions for Storage - This product is water based and should be protected from frost and extreme temperatures. We recommend using within 6 months of purchase and are unable to accept responsibility for the deterioration of contents or packaging after this date. This product contains preservatives to protect from spoilage under normal conditions. To minimise contamination and provide maximum shelf life we recommend that the product is decanted into a clean paint kettle before use and all tools are thoroughly cleaned before and after each use. Repeated opening and use can increase the risk of microbial contamination; therefore we recommend keeping this to a minimum to maximise the shelf life of the product.

Coverage not as expected
The coverage was not as expected and not as much as previous F&B paint. Very disappointed with this tin

The right green
The perfect green natural, not too pale and not too bright but, with a rich depth in bathroom with white and wood

Lovely shade of green
We are having our kitchen replaced and previously had F&B Breakfast Room Green on the walls but decided we wanted something a bit lighter. Really pleased with the Whirlybird and looks great against the units we are going to have. Really good coverage and even on some walls which were fresh plaster.

Changes colour with the light
Lovely paint with a smooth chalky finish that changes with the light ar different times of the day. Got good coverage with its thick consistency, which meant no spray everywhere. It is not good to use anywhere grubby fingers will be as its barely wipeable as paint will come off if you wipe too hard. Grease will not wipe off so be warned.

Great colour
Absolutely loved this colour in our living room. Needed two coats to go over the yellow that was on the walls previously but left a great even covering after that.
