Modern Eggshell is Farrow & Ball’s toughest interior finish, adding colour and protection to wood, metal, and concrete surfaces. This ultra-durable eggshell is tough enough for floors, and it can also be used throughout the home on skirting, doors, kitchen cabinets, furniture, and radiators.

- Instructions for Storage - This product is water based and should be protected from frost and extreme temperatures. We recommend using within 6 months of purchase and are unable to accept responsibility for the deterioration of contents or packaging after this date. This product contains preservatives to protect from spoilage under normal conditions. To minimise contamination and provide maximum shelf life we recommend that the product is decanted into a clean paint kettle before use and all tools are thoroughly cleaned before and after each use. Repeated opening and use can increase the risk of microbial contamination; therefore we recommend keeping this to a minimum to maximise the shelf life of the product.

Neutral grey, too cool?
Our entire house is painted in F&B, we love the colours and the quality of the paint, and the service via the website is never in question. We wanted a lighter and brighter colour scheme when repainting our dining room, so after testing many different colour combinations finally opted for Cornforth White for walls, paired with Wevet for the woodwork. A great match on the cards painted with tester pots. Unfortunately when we painted the room we found the combination just too cool and too much of a contrast with the other decor. This is described as a relaxed neutral that will work well with other colours, but we found it just too bland and cool. It's possibly better suited to more contemporary spaces with a lot of natural light, it didn't work in our often shaded room at all. We repainted in Stirabout, with Pointing for the woodwork, which is warmer and more welcoming.

A gorgeous colour
I love Farrow and Ball modern emulsion anyway so I am always going to be biased. I enjoyed using the paint and the finish I achieved is stunning.

Obsessed.
I love Cornforth White so much - it's the perfect color in my opinion. I wish Farrow & Ball had matching cotton fabrics for all their paint colors and wallpapers.

Great clean look for bathroom and shower room.
The modern emulsion finish and the Cornforth White shade work really well in both our bathroom and shower room, providing a clean look and excellent back drop for the more colourful blinds and tiles.
