Modern Eggshell is Farrow & Ball’s toughest interior finish, adding colour and protection to wood, metal, and concrete surfaces. This ultra-durable eggshell is tough enough for floors, and it can also be used throughout the home on skirting, doors, kitchen cabinets, furniture, and radiators.

- Instructions for Storage - This product is water based and should be protected from frost and extreme temperatures. We recommend using within 6 months of purchase and are unable to accept responsibility for the deterioration of contents or packaging after this date. This product contains preservatives to protect from spoilage under normal conditions. To minimise contamination and provide maximum shelf life we recommend that the product is decanted into a clean paint kettle before use and all tools are thoroughly cleaned before and after each use. Repeated opening and use can increase the risk of microbial contamination; therefore we recommend keeping this to a minimum to maximise the shelf life of the product.

A beautiful, calming and versatile colour.
A beautiful soft blue/green. A very calming colour I think. Lovely with cream, chalky pale pink. Equally lovely indoors or out. I bought it for my kitchen units as well as the exterior woodwork of my garden studio. Very lovely with pink roses growing around the door.

Calm and Lively
I laboured over what colour to paint my home office - finally settled on Dix Blue in Dead Flat on the walls and Estate Eggshell on the door trim. It’s such a unique colour - calm and lively all at once. This room faces east and so reveals the green undertones first thing in the morning and progresses more to a deep eggshell blue as the light wanes.

Love the new dead flat finish!
I was a bit sceptical of the claims to be honest but this finish is fantastic! As we have dogs it is turning out to be incredibly durable. We’ve now used it in a few rooms. Well worth the investment!

Beautiful blue/green
Used this with dead flat finish in a north east facing room. I love the way the light affects the colour moving from a greenish egg shell in the morning to beautiful blue tones in the evening. Went on like a dream and dried quickly.
