This product is great but not quite right for us
This oroduct is great but unfortunately not for our wooden toilet seat, as the hinge arms are different lengths and the originals are both the short ones, so I've had to go back to the originals - not a problem as I really only wanted the better-looking washers and wing nuts; I first decided to use everything but with all the trialling to get the seat to stay upright and not keep falling down, one of the wing nuts has now stripped its thread, so I'm about to email Fluidmaster, the manufacturers/importers(?) to ask if I can get a replacement. I did ask one of the B&Q staff about another kit which I think I'd seen the previous week, thinking she would look it up on their computer, but she just said she didn't know anything about it, which was less than helpful!

Busted
They look fine but the clue is in the description. 'Chrome Effect' They are not metal. They are some composite material. A seat bracket on mine has broken. I wish they would use steel and charcg a little more.
