Amazing

Just awful at cutting grass
I bought this product 4 months ago and have tried every which way, literally, to get this to cut grass. It is incredibly good.. at missing blades of grass. I feel confident I could run over the cable and be safe, it's that awful. Up and down, up and down. Back and forth. Left to right, around and around, before giving up and cutting with scissors. This is the only mower I'll be chucking away whilst it's still"working". Save your money.

Disappointed
Flymo what have you done? The older model was great, if you're going to upgrade a machine at least have the decency to improve it. Grass collection is shockingly bad, the fan keeps getting clogged with grass rendering useless and as for operating, it's a one way ticket to white finger the vibration is so bad.

This mower is Terrible
My back lawn doesn’t get much sun later on in the year so the wheels on my rotary mower makes a mess of the soft soil so I thought I’d buy a hover mower which would go easy on the lawn. This mower throws as much, if not more, grass on the lawn as collects, plus it doesn’t cut very well as it leaves lots of blades of grass uncut so I keep having to go over and over it. Never again!!

Terrible product
Noisy, drops as much grass as it picks up, poor quality, spindle sheered after 5 months of fortnightly use on small lawn. Gave it one star because I cant give it zero

It works
We have just bought our 2nd one of these mowers. The first one had become "rather tired" after three and a half years. I do not understand why people have trouble with the cuttings flying everywhere, we have never had this problem and it makes me wonder if they have got the collection bin lid open. Our lawn measures approx 35 sq meters - and this mower suits our needs exactly. It may not be of professional standard but it gives a neat cut (ok the edges need trimming with shears every other time) and is easily adjusted with the spacers that fit under the blade. We have never had any problem with it "churning up the grass" as stated in another review.

Not quite there.
Bought this for my small back lawn as the soil get very soft towards the back end of the year and my rotary mowers wheels leave a mess. Found it throws out just as much, if not more grass onto my lawn than it collects. A simple solution which I did was to cover the outlet on the grass box with a small piece of mesh fabric which still allows airflow.
